Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

What is AMZ POD Explorer?

AMZ POD Explorer is a research tool for Merch by Amazon and Print-on-Demand (POD) sellers. It consists of a Chrome Extension that injects critical data—like Best Sellers Ranks (BSR), sales estimates, and keyword suggestions—directly onto Amazon's pages, and a web application for managing your account.

How do I install the Chrome Extension?

You can get the extension from the Google Chrome Web Store. Once you've created an account and have an active plan (including the free trial), you simply log into the extension, and it will start working on Amazon.com.

Is this tool affiliated with Amazon?

No. AMZ POD Explorer is an independent tool developed by TOOFITRY LTD. We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Amazon.com, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries.

What Amazon marketplaces do you support?

Currently, our extension is optimized for the Amazon.com (United States) marketplace. We are working on expanding to other marketplaces like the UK (.co.uk) and Germany (.de) in the future.

Is it safe to use? Will my Amazon account get in trouble?

Our tool is designed to be safe to use. However, because it gathers data from Amazon, it performs a high volume of requests. To eliminate any risk, we strongly recommend using the extension in a separate Chrome profile where you are NOT logged in to your Amazon.com, Amazon Seller, or Merch by Amazon account. This prevents any possibility of your account being flagged by Amazon's security systems.

Billing & Plans

Do you have a free trial?

Yes. We offer a one-time, 10-day free trial of our "Basic" plan. This allows you to test the core features of our software. No credit card is required to start the trial, but you will need to create a free account.

What happens when my free trial ends?

When your 10-day trial expires, your account will be automatically downgraded to the "Free Plan." You will lose access to the paid features, but you can subscribe to a paid plan at any time from the "Plans" page in your account dashboard to regain access.

What's the difference between a "Subscription" and a "One-Time Pass"?

It's all about renewal. A Recurring Subscription (Monthly or Annual) will automatically renew and bill your payment method at the end of each cycle until you cancel it. A One-Time Pass (e.g., 1-month, 3-month) is a single, non-recurring payment. It provides access for that fixed period and will not auto-renew. When it expires, your account reverts to the Free Plan.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

  • For Recurring Subscriptions: You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the "Plans" page in the web app. Upgrades are prorated and happen immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • For One-Time Passes: You can upgrade to a higher-tier pass at any time. Our system will calculate the remaining value of your current pass and add it as extra time to your new pass. Downgrades are not possible; you must wait for your pass to expire.

You cannot switch from a Recurring Subscription to a One-Time Pass (or vice-versa) directly. You must first cancel your current plan and wait for it to expire.

What is your refund policy?

All sales are final. As stated in our Terms of Service, we do not offer refunds or credits for any purchases, including subscription fees or one-time passes. We provide a 10-day free trial so you can test and evaluate the software thoroughly before committing to a purchase.

How do I cancel my recurring subscription?

You can cancel your recurring subscription at any time. Simply log into the AMZ POD Explorer web app, go to the "My Subscription" page, and click the "Cancel Auto-Renewal" button. Your plan will remain active with full features until the end of your current billing period.

Where can I find my invoices?

For any paid plan, you can access all your invoices and payment history by logging into the web app, navigating to the "My Subscription" page, and clicking the "Manage Billing" button. This will open our secure payment portal (Stripe) where you can view and download all past invoices.

Technical & Account

What browser do I need?

The AMZ POD Explorer extension is designed specifically for the Google Chrome browser on a desktop or laptop computer (Windows, Mac, or Linux). We recommend using the latest official version of Chrome for the best performance. The extension is not supported on mobile browsers.

A feature suddenly stopped working. Is it broken?

This can happen. Our extension operates on top of Amazon's website, and Amazon frequently makes changes to its code. When they do, it can temporarily break a feature. Our team monitors for these changes and works to release an update as quickly as possible. Please report the issue on our Support Page so we can investigate.

I signed up but didn't get an activation email. What do I do?

Please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still can't find it, go to the Sign In page and try to log in. The system will tell you the account is unverified and give you an option to resend the activation code.

How do I change my password or email address?

You can do both from the "My Profile" page inside the web application. Please note that when you change your email address, we will send a verification code to the new address for security.

Can I share my account with a friend or Virtual Assistant (VA)?

No. Account sharing is strictly prohibited and is a violation of our Terms of Service. Our system monitors for concurrent logins from different locations. If account sharing is detected, we reserve the right to immediately and permanently disable the account without a refund.

I have another question that's not listed here.

We're happy to help. Please use our General Contact page for billing or partnership questions, or our Technical Support page if you are having an issue with the tool.
